Snoop Dogg pretends to shoot Trump…and gets TV show
I get it that rapper Snoop Dogg has a Constitutional right denounce a president. But when he suggests he’d be happy if POTUS was murdered, it crosses the line, at least morally. Yet where is the backlash? Not from the elites in the media or Hollywood. In fact, after pretending to shoot POTUS in a video, he gets rewarded with an offer to host a game show. I guess nothing is off limits today, unless, of course, you speak out on something the Hollywood cabal disagree with. Then, you are shamed and fired.
More PC: School cancels Halloween parade
How’s this for political correctness run amuck? Boyden Elementary School in Massachusetts cancelled its Halloween party because, said the principal, “… the parade is not inclusive of all the students and it is our goal each and every day to ensure all student’s individual differences are respected.” Too many people in power to whom we entrust our children are abusing that power by imposing their warped agendas in a condescending effort to tear apart anything that traditional America holds dear. Message to these principals: “teach our kids the three Rs and engage in your insane views on your own time with your own kids.”
White males need not apply
The Democratic Party is looking for workers in their tech department. But get this: DNC data services manager Madeleine Leader actually sent an email to DNC insiders with the subject line, “Work at the DNC!” adding, “I personally would prefer that you not forward to cisgender straight white males, since they’re already in the majority,”
But if you find that blatantly illegal, unconstitutional and overall disgusting, you can relax. As you can see, they make an exception if the white male is transgender. Democrats have a golden opportunity to capitalize on Trump’s low poll numbers. But they can blow it by offending so many within the population with their condescension. This nonsense adds to the perception highlighted in last year’s election that the party has not only completely abandoned its white middle class base, it actually holds them in contempt. Bad strategy to take back the reigns of power.
Tax cuts can actually close deficit.
Can’t stop laughing over the members of Congress suddenly showing concern over the deficit, now that there is a proposal out there to jolt our economy with a tax cut. Republicans didn’t care much about spending when the Bush Administration doubled the national debt by prosecuting a war and enacting a new Medicare program without paying for either (leading to the Tea Party movement). Then the Obama team made them look like misers by doubling the debt again, adding an astonishing $10 trillion to the national debt. Now that we have a chance for tax relief, both sides are balking, suddenly worrying about adding to the deficit.
But they failed to learn from history, when across the board tax cuts by both a Democrat (Kennedy) and a Republican (Reagan) led to five percent growth, huge gains in wages, and an actual increase in revenues. (The deficit increased in the eighties, not because of the tax cuts, but because of huge increases in defense spending.)
So here’s a solution: enact the tax cuts and watch the economy grow. And if revenues don’t materialize as expected within three years, which history suggests they should, then incorporate into the plan a provision that would impose an automatic, across the board spending cut of one percent in each department, or whatever number would make it deficit neutral. It would kick in only if the revenue did not materialize as predicted. Either way, it will lead to a much needed reduction in our national debt.

…while the prosecution of the war was indeed steeped in often dubious management, we cannot overlook that our resolve in Vietnam was an integral part of our overall successful war against totalitarian communism.
