Last year he spoke before the Long Island Commercial Realtors, the Americans for Legal Reform and at the Long Island Metro Business Action. Former County Executive Steve Levy, presently serving as the executive director of the Center for Cost Effective Governance, will be the featured speaker at the Long Island Metro Business Action (LIMBA) group on Friday, July 27th. Registration begins at 8am, program begins at 8:30am.
Some of the topics Mr. Levy will address will include, whether the property tax cap will be eliminated, excessive bonding and escrows in school districts, county bonding practices, whether council districts should be implemented in Long Island towns, and the growing federal deficit.
